In addition to Knowledge Base articles all ticket summary and comments are stored into the knowledge base ready for searching at a later time.




After you enter the text you wish to search on you can choose to search in; Everything, Tickets or any of th defined Knowledge Base Categories you have set up




To search for a tag, place the tag name in parentheses.




A search using keywords separated by spaces will return results matching any of the keywords.



Search for an exact phrase by using quotation marks.



Any or all of the above methods may also be combined in a single search. By default both articles and tickets are searched; optionally, articles only or tickets only may be searched. The search menu duplicates the folder structure of your knowledge base articles, so search results may be limited to a particular subject folder or subfolder.
