The email configuration is used for both sending out email notifications such as ticket email templates but can also be used for retrreiving emails that are to be created into tickets

This must be configured by an user in the Admin group as they need access to Administration

From Administration choose Email  - Configuration

Enter the IMAP email server information for incoming email

Enter your email server SMTP information for outgoing email

It is recommend to test the incoming email and send a test email to confirm the settings are entered incorrectly.
