Asset Classifications

Asset Classification serves as a means to regulate access and generate reports pertaining to various categories of assets under management.

Intelligent Assets

System Clients automatically report up as the following Asset Classification from System Area Manager but can be modified based upon your requirements.

Computer - Server

Computer - Desktop

Computer - Notebook

Computer - Tablet

Devices managed through the MDM will automatically be classified either as Chromebooks, iPads or iPhones.

You can modify the Asset Classification of an asset by choosing the asset from the Asset Management Dashboard

Click on the Classification drop down menu to see the available defined classifications,

***PLEASE NOTE*** - When importing Assets using a CSV file it will automatically create the Classification if it does not currently exist.
