To create a Parent/Child Template - Administration - Help Desk - Configuration - Parent/Child Templates




Existing Parent/Child Templates will be presented, these can be edited by clicking on the Event Name, they can also be enabled or disabled.


Create a Parent/Child Template


Click on the Create Template button


Choose the Event Type the Template will be created with, give the Template a Description as this will be the main ticket summary.


Press the + to add each Child Event for this Template


Enter the text that is to recorded in the ticket summary



In this example when a New Staff member is requested through SelfSevice the Parent and 4 Child tickets will automatically be created
